Chris Kirkham is a journalist by profession and has spent the last several decades planning to write a novel.
He was born in Lancashire and graduated from University College, London with a First in English Literature. He worked for a local newspaper in Buckinghamshire, BBC local radio and the World Service before joining Bloomberg in the mid-1990s, where he still works today.
Chris lives in Cambridgeshire with his wife, an academic and writer. He has four grown-up children. His hobbies are reading and trying to pretend he's younger than he is. His favourite novels are The Great Gatsby, Portrait of a Lady and Bleak House. His passions are Bob Dylan and France. Decoherence is his first novel but he has threatened it won't be his last.
